7:00am – hop on bike and start riding to Fairfield Station
7:05am – stop to readjust brakes on bike due to excessive squeaking
7:45am – buy ticket and get on train
8:15am – arrive at Flemington Station and wait for other pplz
8:30am – Johnny and Haidang arrive. Still waiting for Keagan and Jonathan
9:05am – Keagan and Jonathan arrive. Start bike trail
10:15am – readjust brakes again due to squeaking
10:35am – pretty much loosen brakes all the way. No more squeaking from now on
12:10pm – arrive in Botany Bay.
12:15pm – buy fish and chips and eat on the beach
1:00pm – resume riding along the coast. Enjoy pleasantly cool breeze.
2:00pm – get a little bit lost and almost get road killed several times before finding correct path
3:40pm – reach end of bike trail at Silver Beach, Kurnell. About 65km of riding done up to this stage
3:50pm – go back down trail, hook a left and head to Cronulla
4:40pm – arrive in Cronulla and take a nice long break…
4:50pm – …but not too long. Hop onto train at Cronulla station and head home. Nothing funnier than trying to fit five bikes into the one train compartment and then try to get out before the door closes
5:45pm – change trains at a very crowded Central Station. Train is packed and is a little bit tight. Definitely not good for claustrophobics.
6:35pm – train pulls up at Fairfield station and it is now time for the final 13km home.
6:45pm – stop at petrol station and buy a hot dog.
7:10pm – arrive home. Total distance cycled: approx. 95 km =P

Back home...

Yup, finally back home after a two week stint in Melbourne. Spent most of the time sitting in relos' living rooms listening to a whole bunch of people bitching and talking utter bullshit. But what can you do? It's an asian thing to do that day in, day out. Anyway, breeze shooting aside, spent way too much time in front of the tv screen either watching movies or frantically trying to finish Gran Turismo 3 in a week. The highlight of the trip was my cousin bailing me from the relentless shit talking assault. We ended up going to his friend's place to (*drum rolls*) watch TV! After an hour or so of watching kickboxing (which included watching as some guy had his shin snapped in half and the bottom half of his leg bending about 130 degrees backwards) we kicked into LOTR: return of the king. Not the normal one either, it was that rip off 'directors edition' crap that had over 45 minutes of extra footage. From observation, i can safely conclude that atleast 30 minutes of that extra footage was Gimli (the pudgy dwarf) making stupid, but comic, remarks. Movie finished about 3 in the morning.

Second week was spent at my uncle's place babysitting my little cousins... all five of them. Worst part was that they were all about 7 years old which is the age where you start to think you are supreme overlord of the world and jump up and down on people's beds at 1 in the morning when they are trying to sleep. It is also the age when they sook about anything and everything and make terrorist-esque demands ("give me a piggy back or i'm going to pinch you"). Luckily, my 13 year old brother was there as an alternate target and i had the almighty PS2 there to keep them occupied.

After 2 weeks in my city of birth (living in Sydney now as most ppl will know) i am now home and just about ready for anything. Except the large pile of school work that i have to complete within 3 weeks. Damn. Anyway, must get to work now. Till next i have time to spare, ciao!
