Life of Gustaf
Edit (nov. 25): I only intended to post the first few chapters of 'life of gustaf' on this blog for fun. However, I ended up updating the post everytime I wrote another chapter or so and the post has since snowballed into a royal mess. It's not so much the insanity of the content that bothered me so much as the fact that it was making the blog clunky and somewhat difficult to navigate. In light of this, a new blog has been opened at www.lifeofgustaf.blogspot.com. It is a blog dedicated entirely to 'Life of Gustaf' and the solitary post (the novel in progress) will be updated with new chapters once or twice daily until the end of NaNoWriMo 2006 (midnight November 30). See you on the far side of insanity!

So far so... crazy and out of my mind? Currently going at about 300 words per chapter so if this trend continues, be on the look out for the next 160-ish chapters of Gustaf's Day.

Wow you know for some reason, it didn't sound like something you would write? Maybe it's just me.
But yes, Gustaf is... perplexing. Why Anastasia is with him is even more so perplexing xD
Anyway, I feel smart because I actually didn't get lost with all those "one must... when one's... one..." xD RAH okay back to study.

I have no idea why Anastasia is with him either. Maybe it's because he has a big.... inheritence.

... you put me to shame.

Nothing to be ashamed of, I assure you.

Are you really going to submit that?
By εïз (c h i l l y), at November 06, 2006 1:35 PM
Yup. Nobody's going to read it anyway (something to do with copyright protection). They just run it through a computer word counter and if it gets to 50k, my name goes into the hall of fame. Even if it was going to be read, why shouldn't I submit it?

I'm loving this. It's actually worth reading... but then again I read anything.
Only few people can be random and make it fly so good work. :D

Glad you're enjoying the reading as much I'm enjoying the writing. I'll try not to disappoint.

Reminds me of Catcher in the Rye, nice Alan

Very Alan-esque. I wonder where this is going. I can't see it having a standard happy ending. Maybe something silly and happy or something terribly tragic delt with in a dismissive manner. Oh I'll have to keep guessing and you'll have to keep procrastinating over exams.
Stream of consciousness writing is great when you need to write a lot in a little time. Keep us updated.

Maybe something so silly and happy that it's terribly tragic. Or maybe not...

Holy crap man I didn't think you had that kind of stuff floating in your head xD I'm somewhat... disturbed xD

I told you my mind was a warped and totally creepy place.

I've read all that you've posted now. You have an amazing ability to write about what you don't know and make it seem like you do. I wouldn't have been able to tell that... well, let's not get too personal here.
In short, I like.
